Diversifying who you follow on social media can help shift what we perceive as “normal”. The more you see people who are showcasing themselves as they are, the more you will begin to realize that all of the things the media and society has told us is “unhealthy” or “unattractive” are actually normal. Doing a social media check can be really helpful – unfollow people who don’t make you feel good, and start exposing yourself to a range of body sizes, abilities, identities, etc.
